You collect the language.
Wortel makes you use it.
You read, you watch, you drill Anki. But nothing ever makes you retrieve and produce what you have met. Wortel reads your notes and your Anki progress, sees which words you only half-know, and builds daily practice for exactly those, generated fresh for you and checked for correctness before it reaches you.

Your notes become practice
Drop words into the notebook however you like. Wortel links each one to its real dictionary meaning and works it into that evening's practice.
Your Anki, understood
Sync straight from AnkiDroid or desktop Anki. What you have studied and what you keep forgetting steer what you practise next. Read-only, always.
Built for your words, then checked
Every exercise is built for a word you are actually learning, then checked against the dictionary, grammar rules and a second model. If it fails, you never see it.
One loop, closed.
- 1 Study anywhere: books, series, Anki, the street.
- 2 Capture words in the notebook; sync your Anki.
- 3 Practise daily at your level: fill the blank, write the form, build the sentence.
- 4 Wortel remembers everything and schedules what comes back, and when.
Correct by construction.
Generated sentences can be wrong. Wortel's never reach you unchecked. Every exercise is written for one word, then has to clear three gates before it is shown:
Real words only
Every word in the sentence must exist in the dictionary.
Grammar that holds
It has to pass deterministic grammar rules for the language.
A second opinion
A second model, from a different family, must agree it is correct and natural.
Anything that fails is thrown away and never shown. What passes is cached and reused, so the collection only gets better.
