Wortel reads your notes and your Anki progress, sees which words you only half-know, and builds daily practice for exactly those, generated fresh for you and checked for correctness before it reaches you.

Drop words and thoughts into the notebook while you study, in any messy format you like. Wortel links each word to its real dictionary meaning and works it into that evening's practice.

Sync straight from AnkiDroid or desktop Anki to Wortel's own sync server. What you have studied, how often, and what you keep forgetting all steer what you practice next. Read-only, always.
Built for your words, then checked
Each exercise is generated for a word you are actually learning, then run through a dictionary check, grammar rules, and a separate reviewing model before you ever see it. If it does not pass, you never get it.

Correct by construction
A language app that shows you generated sentences can teach you something wrong. Wortel is built so that cannot slip through: every exercise is written for one target word, then verified before it is ever served: every word must be a real dictionary word, the grammar must pass deterministic rules, and an independent model, from a different family than the one that wrote it, has to agree the sentence is natural, correct, and means what its translation says.
Anything that fails is thrown away, never shown. Verified exercises are cached and reused, so the collection only gets better over time.
